When we moved to Chicago, we discovered the north side's ugly secret about parking...there's none available! Ok, I exaggerate, we had the option of paying hundreds a month at an unsecure lot about a block away. No thanks, we sold the car, and became Zipcar members. We have not had one regret!
The hourly and daily car rental rates are affordable, we have several pick-up locations within walking distance..gas and insurance are included! No hassle at all.
One slightly negative observation -- with the harsh Chicago winters, the cars can take a beating inside and out...they can be really dirty when you rent. Have only run into this issue a couple of times...seems they are working to improve.

Beautiful ride! Wonderful people! Food could be a little better (I was expecting more from a ride centered around food!). There was a lot of commentary on their website after last year -- I imagine they're going to improve the food next year. If so, I'll up my review to 5 stars!
