Green by Design was very helpful to me as a homeowner and also to my designer for my bathroom and kitchen remodels. We were able to get samples of many green countertop options, cabinetry, flooring and recycled content tile. Colleen and Laura were able to steer me to the right products for my project.

We are a GC in Seattle and we looked into using them. They took our credit card number and then while on the phone we decided it was not for us. This was in June of 2009. We thought we were done with them. October our card gets run by them for $385.00 we called to say what?s going on? They said "Why don't you want to use us?" I was like, "are you kidding? You just ran my card, we have no contract no nothing. "They said 'Take it up with your bank, we are not refunding your money." So they commit fraud and use our card and then have the Gaul to just say take it up with your bank? We never signed up with them. They are TRUE SCAM ARTISTS stay away. SCAMMMMMMMM SCAMMMMMMMMMM CALFINDER IS A SCAMMMMMMM

When I ran a green building materials showroom in LA, I worked with Icestone on a regular basis. What a great product and company! It's Cradle to Cradle, recycled/ recyclable, LEED points, no off-gassing, comes pre-sealed.
From a designer's perspective, it's beautiful. Lots of great colors. The small recycled glass chips in Icestone are a lot subtler than most other recycled glass countertops. I've seen lots of Icestone installations and they're all knock out. It's made in Brooklyn so lower carbon footprint if you're on the eastern part of US.

I use to sell EcoTimber products among many other eco-flooring products beginning back in 2001. (Amazing how that seems like forever ago in this industry...) I was consistently impressed by their beautiful products, dedication to sustainability, and commitment to customer service. Plus they're a crew of really great people.

We used this paint (al most three years ago) to paint our living room. I am still thrilled with the results. We only needed one coat to get a rich, even color on our walls. Our daughter (then 7 years old) was able to help us out without me worrying about her breathing in voc's, which of course, made it twice as much fun!
